What medical achievements has CIVTE obtained throughout these 25 years?
Some events to highlight at the national level, leaving Andalusia aside since there we are the leaders in all events, are the following:
- June 8, 1991. First twins in Spain from frozen embryos. First "in vitro" triplets in Spain.

- May 18, 1988. First "in vitro" triplets in Spain. Today, the team of CIVTE recommends to transfer no more than two embryos, although the Spanish Law on Assisted Reproduction allows the transfer of up to three embryos. Anyway, the choice depends logically on the couple, taking into account the physical characteristics of the mother and the economic and social situation of the family unit.
